But he ends up eating all of Gary’s snail food. SpongeBob decides to feed Gary, much to his happiness. SpongeBob freaks out over how something bad will happen to him with the snail plasma being injected onto him but Squidward reassures him that he’ll be fine and leaves while vowing never to look after a snail even if it will get rid of SpongeBob and Patrick. On another note, I guess this episode is why Gary hates Squidward since he’s the reason he almost died from dehydration. However, Gary eventually goes and drinks some water from his bowl and feels much better. It seems like Gary’s gonna die since the used the only snail plasma on SpongeBob. SpongeBob decides to hold Gary while Squidward injects the snail plasma on Gary, but he ends up pulling Gary away everytime until the snail plasma injects him. Unfortunately, SpongeBob and the doctors can’t inject Gary with it since they’re too squeamish (being nervous at the sight of blood) so Squidward has to do it. Luckily, the doctors come with something to cure Gary which is snail plasma. That or he probably knows that bad luck will come if he leaves the snail to die. Squidward tries to leave but he decides to help SpongeBob with Gary’s sickness since he feels guilty for starving the poor snail all weekend.
SpongeBob eventually comes home to see a very sick Gary. He tries to feed Gary all the food he was supposed to feed him with, but he’s too ill to even eat. Squidward realizes this but the bus with the idiot brothers is heading for SpongeBob’s house. Three days pass and Squidward is still sunbathing while Gary is very hungry and sick. Eventually, the idiot brothers leave, but not before SpongeBob tells Squidward to feed Gary.Īfter the idiot brothers leave, Squidward proceeds to use his three day weekend to tan instead of playing his mediocre clarinet music. SpongeBob tells Squidward that he needs to feed Gary and some other things though he’s too excited about his three day weekend to care. But after SpongeBob and Patrick tell him about the Jellyfishing being out of town, he decides to look after Gary since its’ not every three day weekend that SpongeBob and Patrick won’t be there to annoy him. Squidward initially refuses since he hates Gary as much as he hates the idiot brothers. SpongeBob immediately asks him to look after Gary while he’s gone. Squidward yells at SpongeBob for leaving his underwear on his yard even though it could easily be Patrick’s underwear as well. However, SpongeBob can’t go since he can’t get someone to take care of Gary and the convention won’t allow pets since Gary will just scratch everything. Anyway, Patrick comes by and reminds SpongeBob that they’re going to a Jellyfishing convention out of town. It seems like SpongeBob’s strength just comes and goes.
The episode starts off SpongeBob playing fetch with Gary for a whole night since he always throws the ball too far.

The reason why I’m reviewing this instead of The Chaperone is because I can’t find any GIFs from that or Employee of the Month so I’m trying to figure out how to compensate for that while Scaredy Pants is a review that I’ll be waiting until October 31st to release in honor of Halloween, so this was the next available episode with GIFs I could review.
